  • Kay Phillips

    Secretary

I am married to Al Phillips, we are the parents of one daughter, Molly and two granddaughters who all live in Northern Virginia.  I enjoy knitting and crocheting as well as embroidery and have recently learned to tat. In the summer you can find me working in my flower beds or antiquing!

I have attended Christ Church most of my life.  Currently I host ladies of our church and community who enjoy knitting and crocheting.  I also coordinate a book club where we share our love of reading as well as friendships and love of Jesus.  For quite a few years I worked as the Administrative Assistant at Christ Church and enjoyed working with various people and in many ministries throughout the years such as Awana, Women’s Ministry, Christian Education, Outreach and various other committees.

A few years ago we had a speaker at our church who impressed on me that no matter how old you are, you can be used in the ministry of the church.  I look forward to using my golden years to “finish strong” working for Christ in my church and community.
