Donna is a widow with three grown children and three grandchildren. She is retired and feels blessed to be with her youngest grandchild during the week and the other two when they’re not in school. In what’s left of her spare time, she enjoys sewing, hand embroidery, crocheting and doing sudoku puzzles.
Donna has been a member at Christ Church since 2014 and is active in children’s ministry, the Missions Team and most recently, church council. She enjoys the fellowship of the people at Christ Church and enjoys sharing in their daily lives and the lives of the missionaries and the Good News Clubbers.
Some of Donna’s favorite Bible verses are Isaiah 26:3 and Philippians 4:8 because they give hope and remind us to praise God for all that’s good in the world, because God is good!
I am married to Al Phillips, we are the parents of one daughter, Molly and two granddaughters who all live in Northern Virginia. I enjoy knitting and crocheting as well as embroidery and have recently learned to tat. In the summer you can find me working in my flower beds or antiquing!
I have attended Christ Church most of my life. Currently I host ladies of our church and community who enjoy knitting and crocheting. I also coordinate a book club where we share our love of reading as well as friendships and love of Jesus. For quite a few years I worked as the Administrative Assistant at Christ Church and enjoyed working with various people and in many ministries throughout the years such as Awana, Women’s Ministry, Christian Education, Outreach and various other committees.
A few years ago we had a speaker at our church who impressed on me that no matter how old you are, you can be used in the ministry of the church. I look forward to using my golden years to “finish strong” working for Christ in my church and community.
Lisa Kline lives in Beavertown with her husband Skip and two of their three children, Caleigh and Christian. Their oldest daughter Alexis married Garrett in May 2019 and now lives in Juniata Co.

I am Nick Brown, and have been married to my wife, Katrina, for over 27 years. We have been blessed with seven children, ages 11 to 26, five of whom are still home. Two of our daughters are married, and we have now been blessed with five grandchildren, as well!
I like to hunt and fish, and basically do anything outdoors. I also like to umpire girls’ fast-pitch softball.
I have been a believer since I was 19 years old. My brother led me to Christ, and I had a couple of men who became good mentors to me in my early years as a follower of Christ. A couple of my favorite verses are Romans 8:38 & 39 and John 19:30. My wife and I are currently in the Colson Fellows Program, and anticipate commissioning as a Colson Fellow in May of this year.
We have been members of Christ Church for over a year now. I love attending our Saturday morning men’s Bible study, and any opportunities for fellowship with this body of believers. Our family has also done monthly services at a nursing-care facility in Lewistown for several years; however, since the lock-downs imposed last spring, sadly we have not been able to be there for close to a year now. We pray that those doors will re-open soon.
Before coming to Christ Church, we were involved in various ways in our former church. I had served as a deacon, we were both involved in the music ministry, and we also worked with the youth group ministry.
I have been an active member of Christ Church for 30 years. I live in Middleburg and have been married to my wife Ami for 18 years and we have a son, Parker, who is 13 years old. I am a foreman/pipe welder through the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union and I currently work for the contractor Enginuity. My hobbies include; hunting, shooting, fishing, riding motorcycle and weight lifting. I am currently a member of the outreach committee and an usher and a greeter at church.
